Program Overview

Are you ready to get into mental shape? ACH Boot Camp is designed for those with one to two years of ACH experience. This is an intense two-day workshop designed to hone knowledge. Participants walk away with the tools needed to be more effective in their job position and with a much greater knowledge of ACH operations and compliance in today's payments industry. Attendance is encouraged for anyone with an interest in advancing their ACH knowledge, regardless of the position held in your organization.

Network Statistics
See how ACH has grown over the years and how ACH transactions have become vital to the financial community

Nacha Operating Rules Overview
Learn the layout of the Nacha Operating Rules and understand where to find information

Exception Item Processing
Discussion of common errors and solutions that both protect the financial institution and provide customers/members the service they expect

Government Payments
Learn important differences between the types of Federal Government payments

Day Two Topics

Basics of Origination
Learn about the warranties and liabilities of the Originator and the ODFI; understand the nuances of the various types of ACH Entries

Risk Management
Understand the risks of ACH and, more importantly, how to mitigate them

Rules Enforcement
Learn how the ACH Network addresses problems that just can't be fixed, and what to do when someone doesn't follow the Rules

ACH Rules Changes
A discussion of upcoming changes to the Nacha Operating Rules
